On avait déjà remarqué le quintet rennais Heliport grâce à leur split avec Alaska Pipeline en 2008 et leur apparition sur l’excellente 10 Collection du label Anglais Big Scary Monsters). Et c'est HipHipHip ! qui a le plaisir de sortir le premier album du groupe, Désarroi esthétique, en version limitée (300 copies) dans un packaging incluant un vinyle 33T 180 grammes et un CD, excusez du peu ! Désarroi esthétique impose un post-punk rugueux et dansant dès la première écoute, alternant riffs massifs et pickings colorés avec une virtuosité métronomique et une énergie juvénile qui rappellent parfois les regrettés Braid ou les excellents Lack. Urgent, radical et concis (8 titres pour un vingtaine de minutes!), Désarroi esthétique est un joyeux bordel, digne des meilleures soirées entre potes.

Thanks to their excellent split single with Alaska Pipeline in 2008 and their tracks featured on the remarkable 10 Collection from English record label Big Scary Monsters, Heliport have already garnered an enviable reputation. HipHipHip ! now has the pleasure of releasing the band's first album, Désarroi esthétique. The release will be limited to 300 copies, which includes both a 180g 12’’ and CD. Désarroi esthétique delivers an abrasive and rhythmic slice of post-punk that captivates from the outset. Heavy riffs and metronomic rhythms give the music a youthful, compelling energy that will satisfy fans of Braid or Lack. Urgent, radical and concise (8 tracks in just a touch over twenty minutes), Désarroi esthétique is a joyous mess....join the fun!
